relational space is a counselling and psychotherapy practice based in Plymouth, offering services to clients in Devon and Cornwall, and is operated by me, Lindsey Talbott (nee Mitchell).

I trained on the Dartington Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and Therapy and formed relational space soon after qualifying. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and work with its Ethical Framework.

relational space offers general counselling within the person-centred model, on whatever clients choose to bring, for example:-

Grieving/loss

Trauma

Abuse

Relationships

Anxiety or panic attacks

Sadness or depression

Low self esteem

Anger

Addiction or compulsive behaviour

This list is not exhaustive. I have experience working with adult survivors of childhood sexual and violent abuse, and also working with people with extensive psychiatric histories.

I offer an initial half hour meeting free of charge, so we can cover any questions you may have and to allow you to think about whether you would like us to work together.

I work principally from our central Plymouth premises. However I am also able to see clients in Exeter, Totnes and elsewhere in the South Hams by arrangement. Please contact me if you would like to discuss your individual needs.
